wiggin(x) Launches Unique, Comprehensive Suite of Outsourced GC
September 6, 2023 – Wiggin and Dana’s wiggin(x)® division today announced the launch of goldilo(x), a tailored suite of outsourced general counsel services for emerging growth companies. wiggin(x) collaborates with each goldilo(x) client to deploy attorneys who can deliver specific legal services that align with the client’s needs and budget.
goldilo(x) offers a variety of options organized in several broad tiers:
Tier 1: Corporate Housekeeping – Clients are provided a Wiggin corporate partner and paralegal to provide counsel at quarterly board meetings and administrative support for corporate governance administration.
Tier 2: Outsourced General Counsel – In addition to corporate housekeeping services, this tier includes a multi-disciplinary team of Wiggin and Dana partners to provide counsel regarding corporate governance, commercial and technology transactions, trademark management, labor, employment, and benefits, and other services commonly managed by in-house attorneys.
Tier 3: Reporting Company Support – Partners from Wiggin and Dana’s Securities and Capital Markets group team up with publicly listed companies in this tier to help them meet their reporting requirements, reviewing and revising SEC forms and filings, proxy statements, releases and conference call scripts regarding quarterly financial results, and managing other listing and compliance issues.
Clients may also work with wiggin(x) to craft a “just right” suite of services that meets the unique needs of the client, whether serving an internal legal team that needs a specific skill set, or to fill out specialties that a lone in-house lawyer may not have.
