Firm’s growth aligns with increased demand across Northeast Florida’s real estate sector
November 30, 2021 — Jacksonville, Fla. — Sodl & Ingram, PLLC, a law firm that serves clients in commercial real estate, investment, financing and development, today announced that William E. Gibbs has joined the firm as an attorney in its Downtown Jacksonville office.
Gibbs brings nearly a decade of experience to his new role. His arrival coincides with a period of accelerated demand across Northeast Florida’s commercial real estate sector, which is reflected in the firm’s consistent growth since launching in 2019.

Gibbs, a Jacksonville native, represents clients in commercial real estate, land use and entitlement matters, as well as business transactions. He regularly counsels investors, landowners, developers, local government entities and lenders to acquire, dispose, finance and develop real property. He excels in guiding clients through the process of obtaining government approvals necessary to develop and sell real estate across Northeast Florida.
Gibbs earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida in 2012, and was recently selected to the “Best Lawyers: One to Watch” list for 2022. He joins Sodl & Ingram from Akerman LLP, where he was an associate in the firm’s real estate practice group.
