Atlanta, GA – Buchalter, a prominent law firm, has expanded its Corporate Practice Group in Atlanta with the addition of two experienced attorneys: Jonathan Wilson as Shareholder and Mitzi Hill as Special Counsel. Both attorneys join the firm from Taylor Duma, bringing a wealth of experience in corporate law to the team.

The growth in the Atlanta office follows Buchalter’s national expansion strategy. Adam Bass, President and CEO of Buchalter, expressed enthusiasm about the new additions, noting that Wilson’s expertise in corporate finance and Hill’s background in technology and privacy would complement the firm’s ongoing expansion efforts.

Wilson, a seasoned corporate attorney, has extensive experience representing both start-ups and Fortune 100 companies in areas such as corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and intellectual property. He also founded the American Bar Association’s Internet Industry Committee and has served as general counsel for two publicly traded companies.

“I am excited to join Buchalter and look forward to working with the talented team here,” said Wilson, citing the firm’s entrepreneurial culture and national platform as key factors in his decision to move.

Hill, who has over 30 years of experience, specializes in technology, AI, privacy, and intellectual property law. She has also worked in media rights and program distribution and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Emory University School of Law.

Hill shared her excitement about joining the firm, stating, “Buchalter’s excellent reputation and growing presence in Atlanta made this the perfect opportunity for me.”

Amanda Hyland, the Office Managing Shareholder in Atlanta, highlighted the firm’s commitment to building a top-tier legal team in the region. “Jonathan and Mitzi exemplify the high-caliber legal talent we strive to provide our clients,” she said.

Bass concluded, “Their addition is a significant step in our continued growth throughout Atlanta and the Southeast.”
