Uplift in Energy and Ancillary Services Markets Workshop

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has posted a free webcast of a recent day long seminar on uplift payments in energy and ancillary service markets operated by the Regional Transmission Organizations and Independent System Operators (RTOs/ISOs).

The presentation is divided into four panels, presenting a variety of topics on the subject.

The topics include causes of uplift, the impact on market participants, the price transparency and evolving market designs, and broader price formation issues.
