Sutter O’Connell Shareholder Kevin Kita Joins International Association of Defense Counsel

The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) has announced that Kevin W. Kita, a shareholder at Sutter O’Connell in Cleveland, Ohio, has accepted an invitation to join the IADC, the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.

“I was introduced to IADC right out of law school when I attended the IADC’s Summer Trial Academy,” Mr. Kita said. “I was impressed with the collective knowledge and talent in the community, how it was shared, and the impact that could have not only on my own career, but on the practice of law as a whole. Being a collaborative member of this group will allow me to bring an even higher level of representation to my own clients, while sharing what I’ve learned to help other attorneys do the same.”

Mr. Kita focuses his practice on defending the interests of manufacturers, insurers, and businesses in all aspects of civil litigation, particularly involving insurance bad faith, warranty, and products liability.

Mr. Kita received his J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Akron School of Law and his Bachelor of Science from John Carroll University.
