Seminar: Federal and State Incentives for Solar Projects

RER Energy Group (RER) and The Manufacturing Resource Center (MRC) offer a
seminar on solar photovoltaic energy for commercial, industrial and agricultural enterprises.

The seminar will be Wednesday, July 16, 8:30-11 a.m. Eastern time, at MRC Headquarters, 960 Marcon Boulevard, Suite 200, Allentown, PA 18109.

The Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority (PEDA) is offering approximately $12.5 million in funding for advanced energy projects. The PEDA funding, along with the recent rise in prices for PA Solar Energy Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs), has resulted in 25-35% of total solar project costs are covered through cash incentive programs and up to 70-80% or more of total solar project costs are recoverable when including tax credits and accelerated depreciation benefits. Prices for solar systems have fallen by approximately 50% over the past 2-3 years. When combined with the incentives currently available, this makes today a particularly attractive time to purchase a solar
array.
