Noel Cook Joins Buchalter as Shareholder in San Francisco

Buchalter proudly welcomes Noel Cook as a Shareholder in its San Francisco office. A respected leader in intellectual property law, he joins the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, focusing on trademark and copyright enforcement, litigation, counseling, prosecution, and licensing.

Cook brings deep expertise in protecting and enforcing trademarks, designs, images, and creative content. He counsels clients across retail, technology, outdoor goods, furniture and product design, character merchandising, music, and food and beverage industries.

Cook recognized as a thought leader in IP law, he serves on the Board of Trustees of the Copyright Society of the USA and recently completed a term on the Board of Directors of the International Trademark Association (INTA). He is a longtime member of INTA’s Panel of Mediators. Moreover, he is also a frequent speaker on internet infringement, product design protection, and IP damages. In 2017, he co-authored a U.S. Supreme Court amicus brief for INTA.
