Neal Gerber Eisenberg Adds Joshua Altman as Partner in Restructuring & Insolvency Group
CHICAGO — Neal Gerber Eisenberg announced the addition of Joshua M. Altman as a partner in the firm’s Restructuring & Insolvency practice group. Altman joins with experience advising clients in financial distress, including companies, boards, creditors, and investors, both in the U.S. and internationally.
Altman has led clients through complex bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings, with a background in wholesale distribution, retail, energy, media, and technology. His practice includes representation in Chapter 11 cases and distressed asset transactions.
Robert G. Gerber, managing partner at Neal Gerber Eisenberg, said Altman’s arrival enhances the firm’s capabilities to advise clients on financial and governance challenges.
A graduate of Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and Kellogg School of Management, Altman also holds dual undergraduate degrees from Columbia University and The Jewish Theological Seminary. He maintains an active pro bono practice focused on education equity and immigration and serves on the ADL Midwest Board and the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community.
