Mike Tirman Joins Honigman as Real Estate Transactions Partner

Honigman LLP proudly announces the addition of Mike Tirman as a partner. He joins the Chicago office’s Real Estate Transactions Practice Group and Real Estate Department. Tirman, formerly a partner at Ice Miller, brings a wealth of experience. He has managed complex real estate acquisitions, developments, and financing across the United States.

Tirman is renowned for his meticulous counsel and skilled negotiation. He assists clients with various transactions, including loans, purchase agreements, joint ventures, fund agreements, and development structuring. Tirman also has expertise in Shariah-compliant investments. He is notable for representing foreign entities in real estate and corporate financing. He adeptly manages finance leases (Ijara) and advises on acquisition structures involving funds from the MENA region.

J. Adam Rothstein, Honigman’s Real Estate Department co-chair, commended Tirman’s alignment with the firm’s entrepreneurial spirit and significant career achievements. “Mike’s proven track record over the past decade exemplifies the type of innovative thinking and client dedication we value at Honigman. Tirman is a cum laude graduate of Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where he was managing editor of the Northwestern University Law Review, and he earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Butler University.
