Leading Litigation Trial Lawyers, Larry Silverman and Dee Dee Fischer, Join Sidley With Two Associates
Sidley Austin LLP is pleased to announce that Larry Silverman and Dianne “Dee Dee” Fischer have joined the firm as partners in the Litigation practice group. As trial lawyers, they focus their practices on commercial litigation and antitrust litigation and counseling, including MDL and class action disputes, representing a wide variety of industries. They were previously in the Miami office of Akerman LLP. In addition, two litigation associates, Ivan Feris and Carmen Ortega-Rivero, will be joining Sidley.

Mr. Silverman is known for his wealth of experience in antitrust and commercial litigation matters and is a Band 1 Chambers ranked lawyer in Florida in antitrust. He has extensive experience in antitrust counseling, with an emphasis on distribution law issues such as MAP, resale and unilateral pricing policies, internet sales restrictions, and dealer agreements. Mr. Silverman also advises clients on governmental premerger filings and handles federal and state antitrust investigations.
Ms. Fischer is a trial lawyer, commercial litigator and counselor who focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation. She has handled disputes involving a variety of legal claims including the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), the Lanham Act, the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA). She has represented clients in a range of industries including fintech, private equity, insurance, technology, and health care, among others. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Fischer served, active duty, in the U.S. Army as an intelligence analyst and Arabic linguist, and afterward served for a decade in the U.S. Army Reserves.
