Frilot LLC Partner Angela Bowlin Joins International Association of Defense Counsel
The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) has announced that Angela “Angie” M. Bowlin, a partner at Frilot LLC in New Orleans, Louisiana, has accepted an invitation to join the IADC, the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.
“I am honored to have been selected as a member of IADC and look forward to working on the many important committees related to the law and its many facets,” Ms. Bowlin said.
Ms. Bowlin focuses her practice in the areas of mass tort and class action. She has extensive experience in handling claims related to exposure to asbestos and other toxic tort issues. She has successfully defended clients in claims involving both malignant and non-malignant asbestos-related diseases, including mesothelioma, and other occupational diseases. Her clients have included premises owners, insurers, manufacturers, and distributors.
Ms. Bowlin is a sustaining member of the Junior League of New Orleans, past board chair of both Project Lazarus and Crescent Care, current executive board member of French Quarter Citizens, and member of St. Thomas More Inn of Court.
Recently named a 2022 Louisiana “Super Lawyer” for Class Action/Mass Torts, Ms. Bowlin received her J.D. from Tulane Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University.
