Fenwick Welcomes Jerzy Piatkowski to D.C. Government Contracts Team

Washington, D.C. — Fenwick has announced that Jerzy Piatkowski has joined the firm as counsel in its Government Contracts and Public Sector Procurement group. He will be based in Fenwick’s Washington, D.C. office. His addition signals Fenwick’s ongoing investment in regulatory capabilities and continued growth in the D.C. region.

Piatkowski brings nearly 30 years of experience from General Dynamics Mission Systems, a unit of General Dynamics Corporation (NYSE: GD). Most recently, he served as Vice President of Contracts and Associate General Counsel, leading a 170-person team and overseeing the division’s full contract portfolio. His background spans government and commercial contracting, strategic partnerships, risk management, and legal operations across defense, aerospace, and cybersecurity sectors.

He will also advise on M&A transactions, internal investigations, and contract disputes involving government-facing components.
