Ebola and the Law: What You Need to Know

Network for Public Health LawThe Network for Public Health Law, CDC’s Public Health Law Program and the American Health Lawyers Association co-sponsored a webinar on the legal implications of ebola, and the audio and slides from that event are available on-demand.

The webinar describes the recent outbreak of the Ebola virus in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, discuss legal issues that arise when infected patients enter the U.S., and explore legal powers and duties health department personnel have if an Ebola outbreak occurs in the U.S. Speakers will accept questions from participants at the end of the presentation.
