David Theyssen Rejoins NGE as Partner in Real Estate Practice

Neal Gerber Eisenberg (NGE) proudly announces the return of David (Dave) Theyssen as a partner in its Real Estate Practice Group. Dave previously spent eight years at NGE (2011–2019), advancing from associate to partner before departing the firm. Now, he rejoins with even broader experience and a proven track record in high-stakes real estate transactions.

Dave represents a wide range of clients across the real estate sector. These sectors are private investment firms, REITs, publicly traded companies, banks, and high-net-worth individuals. His practice spans acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing of commercial and residential properties nationwide.

Dave’s portfolio includes managing complex deals involving retail centers, office buildings, multi-family housing, industrial spaces, mixed-use developments, and senior living facilities. He has also led multi-state portfolio transactions, navigating purchases, sales, and financing at scale.

Dave earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and his B.A. with distinction from Indiana University Bloomington.
