Blank Rome Adds IP Litigator Ferlillia Roberson to Chicago Office

Blank Rome LLP has added intellectual property litigator Ferlillia V. Roberson as a partner in its Chicago office, expanding its national IP litigation team.

Roberson joins the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation group and Technology Industry Team. he brings nearly two decades of experience in patent, trade secret, and technology litigation. She previously practiced at DLA Piper.

Her practice includes representing clients in complex IP disputes before federal courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She has litigated cases involving a range of technologies, including software systems, mobile devices, automotive components, and pharmaceuticals.

Roberson’s background in chemical engineering supports her work in industries such as life sciences, transportation, and healthcare. She also advises clients on IP portfolio management, licensing, and risk mitigation.

She holds a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
