Beck Redden Welcomes Appellate Lawyer Chris Dove as Of Counsel
HOUSTON, July 8, 2025 – Beck Redden LLP proudly welcomes Chris Dove as Of Counsel in its nationally recognized Appellate practice. Dove brings nearly 25 years of experience in complex appellate advocacy, having argued over 40 appeals in state and federal courts across the United States. He joins the firm from Troutman Pepper Locke.
Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Dove focuses on high-stakes commercial litigation, with an emphasis on the energy, financial services, and maritime sectors.

Dove joins a distinguished appellate group that includes multiple board-certified lawyers and former clerks from the U.S. Courts of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Texas, and Texas appellate courts. He earned his J.D. with the highest honors from the University of Texas School of Law. He clerked for the Hon. William Garwood on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
