An In-Depth Look at Solar Claims and Green-e Energy Eligibility
The Center for Resource Solutions will present a complimentary webinar designed for Green-e Energy participants, renewable generators, and null power off-takers, to provide clear marketing-campaign guidance and help avoid unintentional claiming of renewable energy certificates (RECs).
The webinar will be Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 100 a.m. Pacific time.
According to the Center’s website, attendees will learn: What can be claimed about energy that comes from a renewable facility when the RECs go elsewhere? What kinds of statements can lead to confusion about REC ownership? What statements will render associated RECs ineligible for Green-e Energy certification?
CRS Chief Counsel Robin Quarrier and Green-e Energy Manager Alex Pennock will provide several examples of common REC eligibility issues and how they are typically resolved.
