Wiggin and Dana has promoted Gabriella E. Bensur to partner and three attorneys to counsel, effective Jan. 1, 2026.

The firm announced Bensur’s elevation as part of its ongoing investment in key practice areas. Bensur, an antitrust and commercial litigator, will continue to serve technology and pharmaceutical clients in high-stakes litigation and investigations.

She brings experience in antitrust class actions and complex disputes and holds both her B.A. and J.D. from Cornell University.

Bensur is also active in pro bono representation and is a member of the LGBTQ+ Bar Association.

Alongside her promotion, Madiha M. Malik, Kaitlyn A. Pacelli, and Jason (Jay) L. Stevenson have been elevated to the rank of counsel.

Malik, in the firm’s Health Care Department, focuses on regulatory and transactional work. Pacelli, in the Private Client Services Department, practices in estate planning and administration. Stevenson, in the Real Estate Department, handles commercial and mixed-use transactions, leasing, and development. All three earned their J.D.s from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

In addition, the firm promoted Madiha M. Malik, Kaitlyn A. Pacelli, and Jason (Jay) L. Stevenson to counsel, also effective January 1, 2026. The new counsel represents a range of practice areas, including health care transactions, private client services and real estate.

“We are proud to recognize this group of talented, thoughtful attorneys whose legal judgment, leadership, and commitment to clients exemplify Wiggin’s values,” said Tim Diemand, Wiggin and Dana’s managing partner. “These promotions reflect the firm’s continued investment in key practice areas, strengthening our ability to support clients on complex, high-stakes matters.”
