Clausen Miller Triples Texas Presence with Five Attorneys
HOUSTON (August 18, 2025) – Clausen Miller has tripled the size of its Texas operations with the addition of five attorneys and eight professional staff members, the law firm announced Monday.
The expansion, which coincides with the firm’s third anniversary in Texas, brings enhanced capabilities in trial law, insurance litigation, and commercial disputes across offices in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio. The new team joins from Doyen Sebesta & Poelma, a Houston-based litigation boutique.
New arrivals include Shareholder Scot Doyen, Partners Terence McCarthy and Angela Hahn, and Associates Tamara Crawford and Paul-Michael Dusek. Collectively, they bring decades of experience handling complex litigation across state and federal courts.
Doyen is board-certified in civil trial law and has argued cases before both the U.S. and Texas Supreme Courts. Hahn brings more than 15 years of experience in insurance defense and transportation cases. McCarthy focuses on first-party insurance litigation and healthcare-related disputes. Crawford and Dusek both handle a broad spectrum of insurance and commercial litigation matters.
The additions mark a strategic move by Clausen Miller to strengthen its client services across the Southwest.
