William B. Tate Joins Norton Rose Fulbright’s LA office as Partner
June 2, 2025, Norton Rose Fulbright, a global law firm, continues to expand its California presence with the addition of William (Bill) B. Tate II, a seasoned real estate partner. With decades of experience, Bill’s expertise encompasses a wide range of complex transactions, including movie studio developments, joint ventures, and IRS Section 1031 exchanges.
Bill joins the firm’s Los Angeles office from K&L Gates. He brings valuable regional insight and expertise. This will help enhance Norton Rose Fulbright’s California real estate practice.

Bill’s practice spans nearly every aspect of real estate. He advises on high-stakes acquisitions, leasing, development, and financing for various properties. These include commercial, industrial, hospitality, and multitenant spaces. His expertise spans from movie studios and medical office campuses to senior living facilities. Bill also has extensive experience in credit facilities, joint ventures, and tenancy-in-common structures. This makes him a well-rounded practitioner in one of the nation’s most complex legal landscapes.

Bill’s arrival follows the recent addition of litigator David Bournazian to the firm’s Los Angeles office.
