Private Client Practice Partner Kenneth Goldstein Joins Honigman in Chicago
Honigman LLP announced today that Kenneth (Ken) Goldstein has joined the firm as a partner in its Chicago office’s Private Client Practice Group and Corporate Department. He comes to Honigman from Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP.
With a focus on wealth preservation, Goldstein provides comprehensive estate and tax planning advice to individuals and business owners. He works with clients to build income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax strategies for businesses with diverse assets, including real estate and non-cash holdings. Additionally, he assists in optimizing charitable efforts, including creating and managing foundations.

Goldstein is also experienced in preparing wills and trusts, representing clients in income, estate, and gift tax audits, and handling operational and shareholder agreements, buy-sell agreements, and succession planning. He specializes in multi-generational wealth planning, creditor protection, charitable planning (including charitable trusts and donor-advised funds), and using non-profit vehicles. Furthermore, he has expertise in art law.
Goldstein earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois Chicago and his B.B.A. from the University of Iowa.
