Blank Rome Welcomes New Real Estate Of Counsel in New York

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Kerri L. Alessi has joined the firm’s New York office as of counsel in the Real Estate practice group, which continues to strategically expand its nationally recognized practice with the additions of leading partners Christy L. Reuter and Sonia Kaur Bain as well as associate Matthew J. Crawford.

Kerri joins Blank Rome from Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP. She has significant experience practicing real estate law, notably concentrating on the representation of both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions, commercial real estate financing, and the acquisition and disposition of commercial real property. She is well versed in negotiating all aspects of lease transactions, as well as subleases, management agreements, brokerage agreements, surrender agreements, telecommunications agreements, construction agreements, access and license agreements, and other transactional real estate matters. Her engagements include representing clients in the acquisition, sale, or financing of property located at some of the most prestigious addresses in Manhattan, with various transactions being nominated or recognized as leading real estate deals by the Real Estate Board of New York.

Admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut, Kerri earned her J.D., cum laude, from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, and her B.A. from Fordham University. In addition to her legal practice, Kerri devotes time to pro bono projects and has been honored for her pro bono legal work by Legal Services for New York City.
